Peel Carnival, is a local non-profit event held in Peel, that has run on the first Sunday of August for 73 consecutive years. As the longest running carnival on the Isle of Man, we see an astonishing 3-6k islanders (and mainlanders) flock to the sunny seaside town every year to get involved in the carnival fun and make magical memories.
Our Grand Parade will bring a smile to any onlooker, brightening Peel’s Quay and Promenade. You will see an array of participants from funky families in fancy dress to theatrical community groups to cool cars showcasing their hot wheels. Entrants into the parade are also in with a chance to win some amazing cash prizes for their efforts. As well as the parade, there are lots of entertainments and activities to keep you busy, yummy food to be enjoyed and stalls to visit and buy local crafts, plus a traditional sandcastle building competition on the beach which is open to all.
